Well Today i visited my first church here in Gville. While visiting this church i came to realize how much i truly missed my faith family back home. Going from knowing close to everybody to knowing nobody was quite a shock. I will not say what church i visited because its the internet and i have nothing Christ-like to say. Not to say it was a bad church just not my style. They did have one thing right though and that was today was gator day at the church. Everyone from the pastor to the choir was wearing gator gear. They never explained what it was or why they were doing it but im guessing it was to welcome back the college students. One thing they did that i have never experienced is whenever they read some scripture we stood. So maybe they had some problems keeping people awake? I dont know but it sure kept me awake. Also whenever we prayed we stood. Not that this is bad or anything i just didnt like it. Also i have never been apart of something like that. But like i said i truly do miss Life's Journey "a Church that freaking walks with you." I am very anxious to see where the father places me next weekend!

ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you are going through... except you actually have a job! We are in the same boat bro and I'm praying for you daily. All the unknowns we have laying ahead of us can be overwhelming so just focus on each day.
Most importantly get me a ticket to the UT game!!!!
